This term Primary 2 are going to be learning all about Katie Morag, a young girl who lives on the Isle of Struay in Scotland. We will be learning about maths, language, geography, art and technology through this topic. As part of our topic we are going to the Royal Concert Hall to see a Celtic Connections concert celebrating traditional Scottish music.
If you have any books or photographs about island life in Scotland we would love to see them!

I hope you all have a fantastic time at the Royal Concert Hall today and enjoy all the great music. The Katie Morag books are really good and I know you'll all enjoy them.
Just remember, "the back of the bus they cannae sing, they cannae sing, they cannae sing..." Miss Cochrane will teach you the rest.
